We are Team STARLIGHT!
The staff from all different departments at Starlight Children's Foundation are coming together to fundraise, get fit, connect outside of the office walls, have a laugh, and push ourselves beyond our comfort zone!
We are so excited to see what unfolds for us individually and as a team as we focus on WHY we are doing this and that "it's all for the kids". We are calling on supporters near and far to help our team raise $10,000 to help Starlight Shine On for another 25years delivering programs to transform the experience of seriously ill children and young people.
The challenge will take place in October in NSW at a secret adventure location, and will be made up of corporate teams competing with a focus on camaraderie and teamwork. Together we will kayak, mountain bike, trek, run, and orienteer our way through a race course like no other. (And trust me, this is a very far feet from our normal working days!)
ALL pure cash DONATIONS over $2 are tax deductible and it all goes straight back into Starlight's programs such as WishGranting. By sponsoring a Starlight Wish you can give a seriously ill child a beacon of hope and a chance to fulfil their own individual dream, a unique experience that creates precious memories to be treasured by the whole family, forever. On average it costs $6500 to grant a Starlight Wish.

Starlight Children's Foundation
The Starlight Children’s Foundation transforms the experience of hospitalisation and treatment for seriously ill children and their families - Starlight is the only children’s charity with a permanent, physical presence in every major paediatric hospital in the country.
Every minute of every day a child is admitted to hospital in Australia. For thousands of these children what happens next is the diagnosis of a serious or chronic illness that changes their life, and the lives of their families, forever.
This is where Starlight steps in - delivering a range of innovative programs, built on the World Health Organisation’s social model of health, to support the well-being and resilience of these seriously ill children and their families.
Starlight programs are integral to the total care of seriously ill children - while the health professionals focus on treating the illness, Starlight is there to lift the spirits of the child - giving them the opportunity to laugh and play and be a child again.
